Andrew’s Cover Versions Radio Show was born during the world-changing lockdown period, when his popular Border Events “What’s On” programme had to pause. What started as a temporary stand-in has grown into a much-loved weekly fixture on TD1 Radio, now airing every Friday from 2pm–4pm on 106.5FM and td1radio.scot.

For Andrew, one of the most exciting parts of the show is discovering new tracks. Hours spent searching supplier websites, listening to previews, enjoying a bit of musical retail therapy — and keeping the local postman busy with the latest finds!


Every Friday’s playlist is carefully curated, blending nostalgia with modern reinterpretation, acoustic reworks with full-band powerhouses.
